I was sitting around thinking of the singers in country music that we don't hear on the radio anymore. One of them is a lady that was at the top of the charts in the early 90's, Suzy Boggus.

She has a degree in, of all things, metalsmithery from Illinois State University. To earn extra money, Boggus sang in clubs and coffee houses.

In the mid 80's, a tape she made came to the attention of Capital Records and the folks there signed her to a contract.

Her first couple of songs hit the Top 15. Then in 1991 her album "Aces" featured three Top 10 hits, one of which was "Outbound Plane".

Then in 1993, Boggus hit No. 2 with the song "Drive South".

To me those are her best songs so check them out.
