These guys have leaped into history.

Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet set a world record when they jumped off the top of the world's tallest building to the ground 2,717 feet below.

The duo took the plunge off of Dubai's Burj Khalifa tower. People have jumped off the building before, but Fugen and Reffet set the record by adding another 500 feet, since they jumped from a platform set up above the highest point of the building.

This jump was definitely more than just a leap of faith -- the pair trained for three years.
