According to an interview in the Telegraph-Journal in New Brunswick, country music legend Charley Pride says that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be playing him in a movie about his life. Yes, this is the “The Rock” of WWE fame and star of numerous action films including the new movie “Fast Five”.
Pride said the two got together in Dallas and just spent a day sitting and talking. Pride also said, “when he left it was like parting with an old friend”.
According to Pride, Terrence Howard was originally set to play Pride in the movie, but is tied up with other projects.
Dwayne Johnson is fun to watch on the big screen but can you really see this guy singing, “Kiss An Angel Good Morning”?
