After much consideration and voting, the Country Radio Broadcasters (CBR) have come to a final decision about which country music newcomers will make up the 2013 New Faces showcase, which will be held next year during Country Radio Seminar (CRS).

It’s a busy month for new country music releases in September 2012, with no less than 10 albums from major country music stars hitting the shelves. While few are using the day after Labor Day to release new music, Sept. 11 is literally packed with new music. Little Big Town, Kix Brooks and Aaron Lewis are just three of the artists with new albums out that day.

A few days back I had a chance to catch up with Easton Corbin and talk about what he has been doing and what the near future holds. Easton is preparing for a new album and we talk a minute about what it takes to be the next big song and what he looks for in his songs before he makes the final selections...
