On today's "Retro Rack" is a singer who had a mixture of old time rock and roll, r&b, country and blues in his music. He while be attending the University of Georgia, and was a member of a duo that played beach music called Dirk and Tony.

T. Graham Brown moved to Nashville in 1982. He met famed songwriter Harlan Howard who helped him get a job singing demos and jingles for commercials.

In 1983 Brown landed a recording deal with Capital Records and since 1986 he has recorded thirteen albums, twenty of his songs have charted on Billboard's Hot Country Chart. Brown also scored three number one songs.

Besides recording, in 1987 Brown appeared in a couple of films such as, "Greased Lightning" and "Cursed". Then in 1988 his band the "Hardtops" played Elvis' band in the movie "Heartbreak Hotel."
