Lost Ring Found 14 Years Later!

While preparing dinner in 1997 a woman lost her engagement ring. Last Wednesday she got it back. This website reports that because the ring had been in the police evidence room for two years and no one came forward to claim it, the Santa Fe, New Mexico Police Department was preparing to auction it off. And then the rightful owner appeared, with proof. She had paperwork including a receipt and a picture of her actually wearing the ring. It is valued at $30,000. Makes for a nice find after all these years.
