Alan Jackson is about to tell you just how many ways you can die in the Wild West. The country legend just released a lyric video for his newest song, 'A Million Ways to Die.'

The track is in support of director Seth MacFarlane's newest movie, 'A Million Ways to Die in the West.' The film and television director of 'Family Guy' fame reached out personally to Jackson to convince him to record the song, which will be the theme song for MacFarlane's second studio film.

The video, like the western-themed comedy, boasts an impressive number (some might say, a million) of creatively gory deaths.

"Six bullets in the gut or just a papercut, too many ways to quantify." Jackson sings over images of massive ice blocks crushing men and innocent bystanders being gored by rampaging bulls. "They'll cut your ankle off to cure a minor cough, cause there's a million ways to die."

Although the video is all about death (and includes a few choice words not suitable for blasting from your speakers at work), it's actually meant to be light-hearted and funny, matching the comedy of the film. 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' was released on Friday, featuring a star-studded cast including MacFarlane, Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman and Neil Patrick Harris. Who knows, maybe Jackson will even make a cameo appearance himself!
