On June 4th Trace Adkins' house was destroyed by fire but his family was not injured and have found a safe haven. In fact the singer has urged those donating should send their donations directly to the Red Cross, rather than to him. Trace tells the Associated Press that when he bought the property several years ago he knew it had potential.

"This was just an old dairy farm and it hadn't been worked for probably three decades. Everything was all grown up, and it had been used as a trash dump...a running spring was perfect for damming up and having a lake". Now after the fire, it was the perfect place to take his family and they are living on the farm full time.

He just might be singing this one sitting by the lake. Check it out.
