I consider myself a fortunate daughter. One of the fondest memories I have is Daddy teaching me to dance--to waltz around the living room, before Mama cut in. What fun our family had! That was back when Frank Sinatra danced with his little girl Nancy. Today little girls can still have that sweet experience at the annual event at the YWCA this weekend. Coming up Sunday, February 12, is their third annual Father and Daughter Dance.

The feel-good event will be held at the Legacy Event Center at 1500 14th Street. Daddies and daughters can dance to Music to the Maxx, and snack on finger foods and get their pictures taken. For girls 4-7 years old, the event is from 2-3:30 p.m. and older girls, 8-12 years old, are from 4-6 p.m. Go to this site or call the YWCA, 806-792-2723, for more information. Now, check out the BEST father-daughter dance ever!
