Why Does Carrie Underwood Wear Gloves On Stage? [POLL]

Kevin Winter, GettyImages

Is it a safety precaution or just a new trend? If you haven’t noticed, Carrie sure does seem to be sporting the fingerless gloves on stage quite a bit. Do you like it?

I’ve seen it a couple of times before, but didn’t really ask myself about it until Carrie Underwood performed her new single, ‘Two Black Cadillacs’, at the American Music Awards. Is this just a fashion statement or a precaution?

One can only theorize and speculate. I’ve read up in some places where people believe is shock protection, but others think it’s just a good girl’s way of ‘being bad’.

What do you think? Do you like it when Carrie Underwood sports the gloves?
