IT'S HERE!! Okay, it's only a trailer, but it shows the dragon AND a favorite Lord of the Rings Character shows up for this new movie! Can't wait to see it in December! Who's with me?!

Peter Jackson has brought life to my favorite J.R.R. Tolkien book: 'The Hobbit'. Being Peter Jackson, of course this couldn't be one movie for one book like Lord of the Rings was. Nope, he's going to make 3 films from this one. No complaints here about that, though!

The next film in The Hobbit trilogy will be: 'The Desolation of Smaug'. If you've not read the book or seen the first movie, Smaug is the great and terrible dragon who's death is the point of the party's mission.

Not only do we get to see more action in this movie, but some of our favorite familiar faces from Lord of the Rings will appear in this movie including Legolas!

Welp, I'm sold.

This new film hits theaters on December 13th, which is a Friday. So if a Midnight Premiere event is what you fancy, then plan to take Friday off now! (and I'll see you there!)
