You couldn't ask for a better start in conference play. The Red Raider baseball team came back from a 6 to 3 deficit on Sunday, scoring seven runs in the final four innings, to beat #14 Baylor 10 to 6. With the win, Tech wins the series with the Bears 2-1.
Tech won the series opener on Friday 6-5, and lost Saturday's game 14-13, after scoring 9 runs in the top on the ninth inning to tie the game.
It was the first series win for Tech at Baylor since 2001. Tech now stands at 14 and 7 overall and 2 and 1 in the Big 12.
Tech will now host Nebraska at Dan Law Field this weekend, Friday at 6:30pm, Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 1pm.
