Two For Tuesday With Kenny Rogers And Dolly Parton [VIDEO]

It's Tuesday and that means we'll take a look and listen to one of the top duets in country music. One of the best pairings was Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.

The song, "Islands In The Stream," that Kenny and Dolly did as a duet was the first single released off of Rogers album "Eyes That See In The Dark" in 1983. Rogers worked with The Bee Gees to record and produce the album and the Bee Gees originally wrote the song for r&b singer Marvin Gaye.

"Islands In The Stream" would top the Billboard Hot 100 charts and would be the only country single to hit number one on that chart until the country group Lonestar did it with their song "Amazed" in 2000.

In 2010, the song would top CMT's poll of the best country duets of all time.
