Since the record breaking drought of 2011 has left most of West Texas and the Panhandle area without fireworks displays this year we resort to the folks who have lived to show their willingness to "blow something up" and push the gunpowder envelope to the edge.  If I were a betting person I would bet that once the sun goes down on July 4th, the skies will be full of displays, man-made or not.  Although not the safest route to go, man-made historically can be the most fun, and the most dangerous.  To keep things in perspective, have a look at the following examples.
