‘Truck Yeah’! That’s exactly what Tim McGraw is thinking, saying and singing these days. His latest single, which officially impacted country radio on Monday (July 9), racked up a whopping 80 adds on top of last week’s 19 early adds, totaling 99 country radio stations that are onboard and spinning the new tune already.

McGraw’s Big Machine Records debut is also making some noise on the country singles chart — kicking off at No. 22 on Billboard and No. 25 on MediaBase — making it the highest-charting debut of his career, which is unheard of for a brand new single. McGraw came close to that debuting position back in 2002 when he released ‘Grown Men Don’t Cry,’ which entered the charts at No. 30. But fans and peers alike can’t seem to get enough of the rockin’ good-time song ‘Truck Yeah,’ penned by the LoCash Cowboys (Preston Brust and Chris Lucas), Danny Myrick and Chris Janson, which is already a smash across the country.

“Country radio has given me an amazing career already,” says McGraw. “I’m 20 years into it, so to be having my highest chart debut ever is such a cool thing. I can’t thank everyone in radio enough for the support they’ve shown me over the years and especially now as I’m starting a new chapter with a new label. It means more to me than ever.”

Even with a full career behind him, McGraw is starting fresh, promising fans, “The best is really yet to come!”
