Thompson Square Wins ACM Duo [VIDEO]

Lubbock favorites Thompson Square won the best duo award from the Academy of Country Music a night early. The couple were on stage at the ACM salute to the military at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. ACM CEO Bob Romeo presented the band their award following their set on Saturday night at the ACM experience. Thompson Square were quoted as saying it was extra special to be able to except their award while in front of their fans in Las Vegas. Thompson Square becomes the third duo to have received the vocal duo of the year award aside from Sugarland and Brooks and Dunn.
