The 13th ranked Texas Tech Lady Raiders went on the road over the weekend up Missouri to play the Tigers. Coach Kristy Curry had said earlier that it was a tough place to play. That turned out to be true.

It was the first win for Tech at Missouri since 2004. The Lady Raiders are now 14-0 and 2-0. They were behind at the half 34-28. In fact the Lady Raiders trailed by nine early in the second half.

But, like in the Oklahoma State game, Tech dug down deep and found a way to win. Tech went on an 11-0 run late in the game to secure the win.

What Tech has is depth on the bench. This game it was Chynna Brown who had 17 points, three assists and three rebounds.

You always have to get the wins at home, but the ones on the road are really big.

The Lady Raiders will have another big test this Wednesday night as they travel to Norman, Oklahma to play the Sooners who lost to the Texas A&M Aggies over the weekend.
