The Texas Tech Lady Raiders after going through the non-conference schedule undefeated, they now start Big 12 play Wednesday night in the United Spirit Arena.

Tech will host the Oklahoma State Cowgirls who come into the game at 8 and 1. The
Lady Raiders are 12 and 0 and ranked #13 in the country.

Tech had a tough test last week, pulling out a one point win over San Diego University, thanks to a put back bucket by Kierra Mallard. Tech had to find a why to win in a game that they had to battle all the way. It's that tough game that coaches hope gets a team ready for conference play.

Tech coach Kristy Curry is also getting some good production from the bench. Chynna Brown scored 14 points of the bench and San Diego, and Shauntal Nobles came in a score 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds against Cal State-Bakersfield. They both earned all tournament honors.

With this being the conference opener, there should be a big crowd in the USA.
