Folks are always raving about what the New York Times have to say and justly so. They have some of the most seasoned critics writing for them so it's fair to say they have people who know what they're talking about. So big congrats going out to Eric Church for this mention!

The New York Times recently published an article: The Best Concerts of 2012, as Seen by Times Critics.

They describe concerts very accurately when they talked about them being MORE than just a 'rendering of songs'. Which is true in most cases.

Artists in all genres try to mix it up and shape their live performances so that it's more than what they purchased with the albums the songs come from. It's not just a replaying of all the songs you've already heard. A concert should be a one time unique event that hasn't been and will never be the same as any other.

So when the New York Times critics put together a list like this, it must be pretty cool to be apart of it!

For awhile now, I've been saying that Eric Church has one of the best if not THE best album of 2012 so naturally his shows must have rocked!

Eric Church was ranked among pop/rap giant, Jay Z, and came in IN FRONT of Nickki Minaj, Drake, The Rolling Stones, and Radiohead!

Way to go Eric! You rock!!!
