The New World Trade Center Lifts Up New Beginnings [VIDEOS]

This morning, Friday May 10^th is a momentous occasion in our Country’s journey of healing after the attacks of 9/11. The New World Trade Center was officially made the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere today after a crane lifted a 408 foot tall spire on top. See footage of the events inside.

This September will mark 12years since the attacks in 2001 and this progress is helping to heal the sore on our eyes from the ruble we’ve been seeing to the gaping holes in the ground to a new beginning with this new building. Many victims are calling it ‘a new beginning’ because it feels like the start of the closure that hundreds of them never received as many loved one’s final resting place is Ground Zero.

It is hard to find the right words to describe how NEEDED this new beginning is.

The only thing that seems appropriate is God Bless the fallen and God Bless America.
