The Lubbock Color Run is SOLD OUT [VIDEO]

The Color Run is new to Lubbock but the word spread fast and so did the running spots! The Color Run in Lubbock is now SOLD OUT, but there may still be hope for you if you didn't get signed up in time!

The Color Run is sweeping the nation!!

Registration opened on January 1st and by February 4th, the event is now SOLD OUT. KCBD spoke to Public Relations Specialist for the Color Run, Jessica Nixon, who said they had to put a 10,000 cap on the race due to lack of parking spaces around Mackenzie Park where the event kicks off.

THANKFULLY, though, for those of you who put off getting registered- Nixon is speaking with public officials about possibly scheduling a SECOND AFTERNOON RACE so that more people may sign up and raise more money from the event!!!

WHOO-HOO!!

Part of the event's proceeds will be benefiting the Lubbock IMPACT/TTUHSC Free Clinic - a student-run program that offers medical services to uninsured Lubbock residents.

So keep an eye and an ear out for when or IF this second Color Run will be scheduled! It's going to be a blast!!
