If you have a get together at your house to celebrate a holiday or just to party, more than likely someone is in charge of bringing the cheese ball. You can't have a get together with out one. You gotta have something to spread on the cheese, right?

Today, believe it or not, is "National Cheese Ball Day".

There are the cheese balls you can eat as a snack, but the cheese ball we're talking about today is the one you find on the party.

It's soft cheese, rolled into a ball and usually is covered with nuts. Actually you can cover it with all types of nuts have you like.

Now , if you're looking for a good recipe for a cheese ball, check out the following. It's my wife Katie's and it is good. Happy "National Cheese Ball Day".
