The Texas Tech Red Raiders were down twelve but cut it to two but just could not pull out the win against Ok-State, with the Cowboys winning the Big 12 opener for both teams 67-59.

Once again Tech seemed to have dug themselves to deep of hole and just didn't have enough to get out of it.

A good sign for the Red Raiders was the play of freshman Jordan Tolbert who scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Another good sign was four different player for Tech scored in double fiqures.

One thing that stands out was turnovers. Tech had 13, -which was low for them. But Oklahoma State had 2. Turnovers have a thorn in the Red Raiders side all season long.

It doesn't get any easier for Tech has they will host #5 Baylor at 12:30pm in the US this Saturday. Welcome to the Big 12 .
