The father of country superstar Clint Black has died. G.A. Black left his family shocked and saddened when he chose to "end his own suffering" on Sunday (Dec. 2). He was 78 years old.
This being Monday, the first day of the week, I thought about featuring the first hit songs from country music's biggest stars and those who's star may have faded a bit but everyone still knows them.
Clint Black was born in New Jersey but was raised in Houston. He exploded on the country music scene in the late 80's and early 90's, about the same time that Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks were starting to make their mark.
