The best of the best will compete this Saturday night as Championship Bull Riding returns to Lubbock at the City Bank Coliseum.

The question of “who are the toughest athletes in sport?” has been kicked around more times than this writer can remember. The most common answers to the question include football & hockey players, MMA fighters, boxers and others. But there is one set of athletes that are rarely mentioned, bull riders.

CBR is coming back to town. Time to get ready for the REAL Cowboy Sport! This year's bull ride is guaranteed to be a showdown to remember so don't miss it!

Championship Bull Riding returns to Lubbock on Saturday, February 2nd, at the City Bank Coliseum.

The Championship Bull Riding event, presented by FMX, which came back in February will air on TV this Sunday. The West Texas Showdown will air at 6PM on FSN.

Championship Bull Riding and their rough and tough riders left Lubbock with thrills and chills down our backs. It was great to see Chandler Bownds win the long round with a 90.5 ride and great to see him show Lubbock proud.

To say this is a dangerous sport is an understatement. It's that age old thing of man against beast. It's Championship Bull riding. The CBR presented by 99.5 the Bear.

Where can one go to find those handsome, rugged, and fearless defenders of the wild frontier and the occasional damsel in distress? The CBR.

The CBR will be celebrating their 10th anniversary in Lubbock on February 4th at the City Bank Coliseum. This year’s CBR event will be their 5th annual in Lubbock and they’ll be celebrating by bringing a bull riding legend along for the show.
