Shocking Spectator Footage of the Daytona 500 Big Wreck [VIDEO]

Word of caution before watching this video, the spectator who filmed this on his phone is standing next to others who were hit by the debris.

Posted only one day ago, (Feb. 24th) this is shocking footage from a spectator in the stands of the Daytona 500 when the big wreck happened.

The video is almost surreal. You can hear the announcer and see other fans clapping and shouting with excitement as the pack is coming around the turn, but one split second and it all changes.

The scene below shows a tire that landed in the stands and unhurt bi-standers desperately waving, trying to flag down emergency help for two people seen here that were hit by debris from the wreck.
