“Sesame Street Live” Hits Lubbock This Week [VIDEO]

Headed to the United Spirit Arena this Tuesday and Wednesday is probably one of the most favorite events for children--"Sesame Street Live-Elmo Makes Music". The whole troupe of Sesame Street characters will be there including Elmo, the Count, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Bert & Ernie, and a lot of other fun folks.

The simple storyline shows how they all pull together to make their own musical instruments when the original ones are lost. It's great lessons for kids on how to be resourceful, help each other out and work as a team. We adults could benefit from this. But the parents and grandparents will probably be concentrating on hanging on to their kids during the 90 minute event.

There are three performances: Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets start at $11 and are available through SelectaSeat or by calling 806-770-2000. Here's a little clip of the fun every age will enjoy from the gang at Sesame Street.
