Rock’N’Roll Announces New Course for San Antonio Race!

Many of your runners here in Lubbock are fond of this race tour, as am I, so I’m excited to share the news with you! Rock’n’Roll officially announced a new running course for this year’s stop in San Antonio!

Rock’n’Roll Marathons and ½ Marathons, for anyone who may not know, yet, are the FUNNEST long races you’ll ever commit to doing! Rock’n’Roll makes a weekend of the event, hosting a runners Expo the 2 days leading up to the race where you can get tips from the experts, enjoy all kinds of free goodies, and runners get extra discounts on all of the best name brand running gear!

The reason I love these races so much is that they really made it a blast for me to be able to complete my first half marathon. I remember training for it by myself was a little dull. No one to run with but myself and most of the time it was on a track or on a treadmill.

When you get to one of these races, the first thing you’ll notice is ALL OF THE PEOPLE! They’re all excited to be there, which gets you excited and the atmosphere sticks around throughout the entire race because with Rock’n’Roll marathons- you run by tons of bands playing throughout the course to keep you pumped up. It’s an awesome experience!
