Billy Gillispie's Red Raliders continue to play well on the home floor at the USA. They played their final non conference game Friday night, beating Southeastern Louisiana 62-54.

What was nice to see was when Tech's best player, JordanTolbert, got into foul trouble and had to go out of the game, another player stepped up.

That player was sophomore Jaye Crockett. He came off the bench to score 10 points, pulled down 9 rebounds and blocked three shots.

The defense was good for the Red Raiders, limiting the Lions to 28 percent and they tied their season low for point
s allowed.

The highlight of the night came when Desohn "Biggie" Minnis, grabbed a loose ball and raced from half court and jammed it home over 6-7 Elgin Bailey of the Lions. It was like...in your face big man!

The next home the Red Raiders will Saturday, July 7th when they host #6 Baylor at 12:30pm.
