Shelby Blackstock has the distinction of being related to one of the most recognizable people in the world--Reba McEntire is his mother! The twenty-something son of Reba and manager Norval Blackstock, says he's known for a long time that he can handle a car.

Taking that knowledge with him, he'll be competing in the Grand-Am Rolex Series at Birmingham's Barber Motorsports Park on March 30 and 31. And Reba is expected there as well. He tells "Paddock Talk" that he's always wanted to be in the racecar world. "I'm like the black sheep in the family. My mom hates speed. She hates going fast. So does my dad, my brother, all my sisters."

When Shelby competed in the Grand Am 200 at Daytona in January of 2011, he came racing around near pit row, where his mother was sitting, and he was going 175 mph with five cars around him. He says, "She said she nearly fainted. I told her, 'Welcome to racing'".

Shelby's racing is exciting but so is his mom's music. I really believe this is my favorite Reba song.
