The boys of summer are playing their game and the Texas Rangers are off to a 5 and 0 start. Not only are fans cheering for their favorite teams, they are also singing the song of baseball.
"Take Me Out To The Ballgame was written in 1908 and now the Library of Congress will preserve it for posterity. It's the anthem of America's favorite pastime and was chosen for it's cultural significance.
During the seventh inning stretch at any ballpark fans will stand and sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame".
Nowhere is that any truer than at Wrigley Field in Chicago where the former play by play man of the Cubs, the late Harry Carey, did his thing.
