Every dinner theater I've ever been to I've always enjoyed and believe it has something to do with the fact that the show we saw was a comedy. This weekend's performance of "Three Redneck Tenors--A New Musical Adventure" a Lubbock's Moonlight Musicals production, will not be any different. Their advance publicity reminds you to think of "Pavarotti with a mullet!" Okay. I'm convinced. It's a jeans and t-shirt night for me.

The production will be Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The three tenors(Billy Bob, Billy Joe and Billy Billee) are Jonathan Fruge, Jacob Miller and Daniel Hogan and they are joined by another extraordinary singer, Justin Duncan. Some of the songs you will recognize immediately--"Lone Prairie", "Green,Green Grass of Home", "You Light Up My Life" and "Hound Dog". The dinner is a bar-be-que(what else?!) buffet for the evening performances and brunch for the matinee. Tickets are available at Select-a-Seat, 806-770-2000, or for more information go to lubbockmoonlightmusicals.org
