Miranda Lambert used her appearance on 'The Talk' on Tuesday (Jan. 21) to announce that she will perform during the 2013 Grammy Awards ceremony.

“It means the world to have a nomination and perform," Lambert says of the coveted performance slot (quote via Entertainment Weekly).It’s awesome and I’m so thankful to be a part of it.”

The 'Mama's Broken Heart' singer joins Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood as the female country performers confirmed so far. Lambert stole the show in 2011 with her stellar performance of 'The House That Built Me,' also winning her first award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance with the beautiful ballad. On stage this year, she will be joined by fellow singer Dierks Bentley for a special performance.

Lambert's 'Four the Record' is included in the Best Country Album category for the 2013 Grammys, competing against Hunter Hayes, Zac Brown Band, Jamey Johnson and the Time Jumpers for the coveted trophy.

Also scheduled to perform during the 2013 Grammy Awards are Mumford & Sons  Rihanna, Black Keys and fun. Once again hosted by rapper LL Cool J, the telecast will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8PM ET on CBS.
