I know it's the start of Spring Break, but if you're in Lubbock and looking for some great entertainment, you're in the right spot this weekend. The legendary Michael Martin Murphey is appearing at the Office Grill and Sports Bar Friday night. Hear him sing several decades of hits like "Wildfire" and "What's Forever For?", beginning at 9 p.m

Also Friday night Hedge and Howell will be at Triple J's Chophouse and Brew Company in the Depot. Across the street at the Cactus, the run continues of the very funny family comedy with music, "Lucy and the Outlaw". Laugh, enjoy great music and throw popcorn at the villain both Friday and Saturday nights with curtain at 7:30 p.m.

And if shopping is your entertainment, check out the Lubbock Avalanche Journal's Garage Sale and Market Day. Tons of booths in the Exhibit Hall in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Open Saturday 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Michael Martin Murphey has been to Lubbock a number of times but audiences love him! His songs have crossed over from country to pop to easy listening and then some. His unique sound never gets old. Check out this video made "just a few years ago"--one of the best songs ever written!
