Martina McBride Says Winning a CMA Is Still Special [VIDEO]

Since 1999 Martina McBride has won the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year an incredible, FOUR times! She's nominated again this year. We'll find out who wins Wednesday night but she tells the Associated Press this year's nomination is icing on the cake. "A lot of things are extra sweet now, you know. I think everyone dreams of having a ten year career that's really great and to be able to extend far past that. Everything now is just icing on the cake, you know. But being nominated....Yes, to still be nominated after all this time is so special. It's just a recognition from the industry of what you're doing and so yea, I love it." She's up against the powerful voices of Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Sara Evans. Wednesday night's CMA's will be broadcast on ABC TV at 7.
