Let’s Fill The Boot
The Fire Fighters have been doing this for 57 years and are the largest national sponsor for MDA. To date they have raised nearly 350 million dollars nationwide. Last year, the Lubbock Professional Fire Fighters raised almost $65,000 for West Texas MDA. Steve Yoakum of the L.P.F.F. was on the morning show with Jane and I and said the goal this year is $100,000.
Funds raised from Fill The Boot will help support the West Texas area MDA Children’s and Adult Clinics, Summer Camps for “Jerry Kids”and needed research to find causes and cures for some 43 neuromuscular diseases.
Something to remember, MDA receives no government funding and charges no fees to those served by MDA.
