George Strait was last in Lubbock in March to a full house at United Spirit Arena, touring with Lee Ann Womack and Reba McEntire and still has it. “It” being the fact that after 30 years of recording, the “King” has had 57 #1 hits and made 25 albums selling 68.5 milllion of them. So, how does he celebrate his birthday? By finishing work on his next CD. Can’t wait! And I’ll bet he and wife Norma do a little fishing on their boat. Here’s my fav George Strait song from the movie, “Pure Country”. What’s your favorite?
