Fourth of July Events in Lubbock – Our Top Five

The Only Fireworks You May See This Fourth of July

Contrary to popular belief, the Fourth of July celebration was not cancelled in the city of Lubbock. Fireworks were cancelled and banned within the county lines, but there are still plenty of events for the Fourth that will go on as planned. Many have acted like it’s the end of the world with the fireworks being banned, but until Mother Nature blesses the South Plains with some rain, nothing with the word fire in it should be allowed. That being said, there’s still more than enough fun and entertainment here in Lubbock and the surrounding areas to enjoy. Here are our top 5 Fourth of July events in Lubbock and the surrounding area.
