This being Monday, the first day of a brand new week, lets check out the first number one song from one of country music's superstars, Reba.

Reba got her start when country  star Red Steagall heard her sing the national anthem at the National Rodeo Finals in Oklahoma City in 1974.

He asked her to sing some demos for his publishing company, and he took the tapes around Nashville and got her a contract with Mercury Records in 1975.

After recording several songs with some reaching the Top 20 and Top 10, Reba finally hit the top of the charts, six years later, in 1983 with "Can't Even Get The Blues". It came off her fifth album "Unlimited".

To this day it continues to be a crowd favorite when she sings it in concert
