This being Monday, the first day of the week, let's feature the first number one song of one of country music's major stars, Alan Jackson.

Jackson came on the scene the same time Garth Brooks was making his mark. Jackson was part of that new traditional movement happening back then.

Before hitting is big, Jackson worked a series of odd jobs including working in the mail room at "The Nashville Network." At night, he would perform in the clubs in Nashville.

Jackson would become the first artist signed to the new country division of Arista Records.

His debut album "Here In The Real World" came out in 1990.The album went platinum and it yielded four Top Five hits which included his first Number One song "I'd Love You All Over Again."
