It all started back in 1999 and Brad Paisley has not looked back. He has won several awards, recorded two songs for the movie "Cars 2", and has become a country music mega star.

He got his first guitar at the age of eight and when he was 12 he was writing his on material.

His songs range from the romantic song "Then" to fun fulled tunes like "Ticks" and "Alcohol".

Paisley, although he is part of the new generation of country artist, he never forgets its roots. That shows in songs like "Old Alabama" and " This Is Country Music".

But as was noted at the beginning, it started back in 1999 when he put out his first album "Who Needs Pictures". His first release off that album went to Number One. It's called "He Didn't Have To Be".

Don't forget, Paisley hits Lubbock Feb. 16th at the United Spirit Arena with The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery.
