Dine and Be Kind for Ronald McDonald House

Local McDonald's will be participating in an event called "Dine and be Kind" for Ronald McDonald House charities of the Southwest, Tuesday, April 17th, 2012. "Dine and be Kind" is a fundraiser that will be generously sponsored by all area McDonald's locations. When you dine at your local McDonald’s on April 17th between 5pm and 8pm a part of your purchase will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Southwest. The money donated will be used to keep families together during their child’s serious illness or injury. One truly never knows when you'll be using the services offered by the Ronald McDonald House. While working in Amarillo my daughter became critically ill with a collapsed lung due to a virus the doctors could not put their fingers on. While spending many long hours in critical care, The Ronald McDonald House there was the only refuge to shower, eat, collect your thoughts and re-charge when your family needs it most.
So join us from 5pm to 8pm Tuesday April 17th at a Lubbock McDonald's location as we gather to support the Ronald McDonald Houses of West Texas.
