If you have stuff around the house that needs fixing, normal people have one of two options: you either do it yourself, or pay somebody else to do it for you. Neither of those options appealed to 36-year-old Jason DeJesus and 33-year-old Chanelle Troedson of Morgan Hill, California. So instead they lured a local handyman to their home and beat him until he agreed to spend the day fixing stuff around their house, gratis.

The plan was going off without a hitch, but then they got greedy. After the imprisoned man had fixed their dishwasher and a broken door over a seven hour period, they decided to drive him to a relative's home, where he could offer more of his free forced services.

Along the way they stopped at a gas station and for some reason allowed their prisoner to pump the gas while they hit the mini mart for snacks. Apparently, Stockholm Syndrome had yet to sink in, and the handyman -- who was bleeding from the side of the face -- ran to a nearby house and called the police.

Cops found DeJesus and Troedso in the snack aisle, and they were arrested for kidnapping, false imprisonment, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Not surprisingly, there is a bit more to the story. Apparently the handyman had been involved in a dispute with another one of DeJesus and Troedso's relatives about a previous job, which was the motive behind this twisted couple's revenge. A negative Yelp! review is one thing, but this seems a bit extreme.
