Actress Holland Taylor has written and is starring in a play she wrote called "Ann", which is about the former Governor of Texas Ann Richards. The show is at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. until the middle of next month. After that, Holland hopes to bring it to Broadway. Holland Taylor is perhaps best known as playing Charlie Sheen's character's mother in "Two and a Half Men". And she has also been a favorite character actress of mine. I first noticed her as Kathleen Turner's character's publicist in "Romancing the Stone". With her very recognizable face, Holland "nails" Ann Richards to a tee. Check out this fabulous performance. She's destined for Broadway with this show.
