Bogus Taylor Swift Show Gets Two Arrested [VIDEO]

A California concert promoter is out $225,000 dollars after being scammed by two men offering up a Taylor Swift live concert. Kachik Mouradian, CEO of Omega Alpha enterprises was convinced to invest a total of $375,000 dollars to put on a Taylor Swift concert in Phoenix, Arizona. Derrick “Suits” Robinson and Emmanuel “Kojo” Bentil presented bogus documents to convince Mouradian to pay the fees and now both men are charged with grand larceny and forgery. According to CBS news bail for Bentil was set at $100,000, and $5,000 for Robinson. Both men are due back in court next month, where they face five to 15 years in prison if convicted.
Meanwhile, fans can hear the real Taylor Swift this weekend, performing ‘Eyes Open’ and ‘Safe & Sound’ with the Civil Wars on the soundtrack of ‘The Hunger Games,’ which opens in theaters today.
