Back to School Fiesta Planned This Weekend at Texas Tech

Coming up this weekend is Texas Tech University's 11th Annual "Back to School Fiesta." It'll offer free school supplies, college resources, free food and entertainment.

It's an annual event at Tech and is for all ages. It was created to introduce children and their families to the opportunities of a higher education and in particular a degree earned as a Red Raider.

Also offered are free health screenings and college prep workshops. It's open to the entire community, Saturday, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena, 1701 Indiana.
