On "America's Got Talent" last night, Lubbock's own "Avery and the Calico Hearts" were eliminated from competition. However, it's now being rumored that they may be selected as a "wild card". One website says judge Sharon Osbourne will save the group. "Avery and the Calico Hearts" has been competing for the last five months and if you viewed the show last night, you probably thought they'd be coming home. Their fans are hoping there's an outside chance they could be a wildcard pick. But that's just gossip for now. Nothing is certain.

The group, made up of Avery Winter, Cassidy King, and Brooklyn Elbert, formed at The Cactus Theater about five years ago, first singing as "The Itty Bitties", because come on, they were only 4 and 5 years old then. At 9 and 10 years old, America's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan says they should put their singing career on hold another five years. Here's a wrap of their climb so far.
