The Red Raiders dropped another Big 12 series, losing the finale of the series, 14 to 8, to Texas A&M. Red Raider starter Robbie Kilcrease had his shortest outing of his career, lasting only 1.1 innings , and giving up 6 runs. Tech came back scoring 2 runs in the 1st and 2nd innings and 1 in the 3rd to trail by one, 6-5.
Again it seems that the pitching for the Red Raiders is still a problem because the Aggie bats exploded for 3 runs in 4th inning and 4 in the 5th inning.
It was autism awareness day at the ballpark and a highlight was the singing of the national anthem by Brianna Curlee, who is autistic. She was great.
One of the strangest things to happen, maybe we should call it embarrassing. Joaquin Hinojosa was pitching for A&M, when all of sudden he got sick and threw up right there on the field, in front of everyone. But he stayed in and finished the game.
I think the loss made the Red Raiders players and their fans a little sick to their stomachs.
