Congratulations are in order for Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Blake Shelton. All three country acts have been nominated for 2012 Teen Choice Awards outside of their genre. Swift was nominated in the Choice Female Artist category, where she is up against pop divas like Adele, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and Rihanna. Lady A received a nod in the Choice Music Group category, where they will do battle with the likes of LMFAO and the Wanted, among others.

Famed ‘The Voice’ coach Blake Shelton is also up for an award or two, including Choice Male Artist — but he will probably be fighting a losing battle there, given that Justin Bieber is also named in the category. Perhaps he’ll have better luck in his own genre, when he goes against Scotty McCreery, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Hunter Hayes for Choice Male Country Artist.

Swift is named as a contender for Choice Female Country Artist against Lauren Alaina, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Miranda Lambert. There are also trophies given for Choice Country Song and Choice Country Group (which, of course, includes Lady Antebellum).

You can read the full (and rather extensive) list of nominees here. The competition is stiff in the out-of-genre categories, but we have plenty of faith that these country music favorites can win their respective awards. And that’s where you come in, country fans. You can vote once per category per day by going here. The most dedicated fans can surely carve a minute out of their day to vote once a day. It only takes a second for your voice to be heard and to help your favorite country acts to take home the 2012 Teen Choice prizes.

The Teen Choice Awards air on FOX on July 22 at 8 PM, set to tape delay.
